The Cabernet Sauvignon for the BlankBottle TOOLBAG grows in a single vineyard on the foothills of the Witzenberg Tulbagh.Vinification: The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness and chilled overnight to 4 degrees Celsius. The next morning the grapes were destemmed and put into open fermentation vats. The juice was subjected to spontaneous fermentation and remained on the skins as long as possible. It was pressed into small barrels made of older French oak, aged in the barrel for 18
