Description:
The grapes were harvested at optimum ripeness and chilled overnight to 4 degrees Celsius. The next morning the grapes were pressed as whole clusters. The juice was subjected to spontaneous fermentation in older French oak barrels and in 40% new barrels.
The Chardonnay comes from a single trellis vineyard on the foothills of the Helderberg opposite False Bay, which gives the BlankBottle Seelug a beautiful character. A wine with elegance and energy, freshness and bright acidity.
