Description:
The manual harvesting of the grapes is followed by de-stemming and traditional maceration for a period of 10 days in stainless steel fermenters.

At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the Zenato Valpolicella Superiore is separated from the skins with gentle pressing and aged in 50/75 hectolitre oak casks for about 12 months.
This ruby red wine has a dark core. On the nose delicate, reminiscent of maraschino cherries and fruits of the wood. On the palate dry, velvety, with a good structure, fullbodied and well-balanced.

The winery is in San Benedetto di Lugana, in the municipality of Peschiera del Garda, about 25 km west of Verona. Its location on the Veneto side of Lake Garda affords it an extremely favourable microclimate. It comprises 70 hectares, in the best vineyard sites of Lugana and in the Valpolicella Classico, right in the midst of areas richly laden with important historical, economic, and cultural events and memories.
